Advice for buying a pc 3D screen?

I want to buy a 3D pc screen, for 3D gaming and, most importantly, to watch 3D blu-rays. I don’t really know if there are special requirements for this. I have a pretty good CPU, my GPU is kind of old (GeForce GT 440).

I understand that for 3D gaming you need to but something else. For the moment I don’t care about that. I wanna know if I can just go ahead and buy a pc 3D screen and just plug it and watch 3D blu-rays in my pc.
