Am I Model Material? If so, where do i start?

I am years old, about to be . The only reason why i am asking this question is because recently i have had random strangers come up to my mom and I, or when i am with a friend and the people are like “you are just beautiful, have you ever thought about becoming a model?” When i tell them that i am only they are shocked. So recently i have been putting some thought into modeling and I would love to try it. My mom is all up for it too, she thinks that it would be a fun opportunity for me to try out.

I live in Ohio so are there any modeling agencies here that are legit and not just paying money to take pictures of yourself but I actually want to model for clothing and things like that. I am ‘” by the way.

Thank you!

oh! and here are some pictures of me….tell me what you think please, i just want opinions on all of this.

Read what one model says about his hair: “I work as a model and went through a period of work where my hair was constantly straightened for photoshoots and shows; after about two or three weeks of having my hair straightened almost every day my hair has evidently become so damaged that it’s stopped curling about two inches from my scalp.
