At what age is salat obligatory?

I started at 12(praying 5x) and I seems late but I started puberty late too(15)

  • There is no obligation ,may be it start from the age of five.This is a learning process and elapse through guidance for gaining maturation.

  • At no age is any of that stuff necessary. God doesn’t exist. Religion is a lie. When you pray, you pray to nothing. You have the freedom to treat fiction (gods, angels, devils, etc) as fact whenever you want. And, you have the freedom to stop when you grow up.

    When 1 person thinks fiction is fact, they are considered crazy.
    When 1 people think fiction is fact, they are considered a cult.
    When 10,0 people think fiction is fact, they are considered a religion.

  • Salah becomes obligatory upon a servant when he/she hits puberty. So when you started at the age of 12 it was not obligatory upon you as you hit puberty at 15 but I guess it was good practice. 🙂

  • Nothing is obligatory in Islam before puberty.

    but it is wise to teach your kids the basic things, so they get used to it.
