I am going to get a blood test on friday to check for possible pregnancy… I have taken a few HPT, but all came back negative. Has anyone gotten a false negative HTP, but then had blood work and found out that they were pregnant?? Please… I need some encouragement!

My period is 37 days late… I haven’t taken a home pregnancy test for over a week now… but, I’m tired of seeing the BFN!!

With my fourth pregnancy, I got numerous negatives for nearly two weeks after I missed my period. I was even testing before I missed it, so you can imagine my torture. My doctor at the time did tell me that if I had tested with my blood a week prior I could have learned a week sooner that I was pg. Go figure.

I think a blood test can detect actual pregnancy at about four to five days earlier than the earliest sensitive test on the market.
Its normal to be nervous. Doesn’t mean you are not pregnant, just means you are nervous and that’s ok:)

It hasn’t ever happened to me but it did happen to my younger sister. She took several home pregnancy tests and they all turned up negative. So she decided to ride horses one day after it had rained and the roads were slippery and the horse slipped and fell and she landed on her wrists wrong. For some reason there are women who will never get a positive urine test when pregnant. How late for AF are you? Maybe you’re just testing too early. Best wishes.
ive taken a test and it came negative! and im def pregnant…lol..and by the way my friend has actually taken a blood test and it came back negative and she WAS actually going on 5 months pregnant atthe time.. GOOD LUCK
Blood work is more accurate, so its possible that you are pregnant and the other tests are not detecting the hormones yet. But if not, there’s always next month.
