Government will tell you LIES! Seperation of church and state is a LIE! Think of a four walled room. The ceiling is prime law (THE ONLY LAW), or God. The wall in front of you is personal government, The one to the left, Family government. To the right, Church government. And behind you, Civil government. America’s SoC&S NOW is putting the wall behind you on TOP of the ceiling, basically saying government IS God. OUR (Christian) SoC&S is seperating the Civil government from coming in and telling our governments (Personal, church, etc.) WHAT TO DO RELIGIOUS WISE!!!! Meaning if an Atheist comes into office and tells us we have to tear down our churches, HOLD ON A MINUTE!!!! SEPERATION *puts up a wall*. WE CAN BLOCK THEM FROM FORCING US INTO DOING WHAT THEY WANT! SAME APPLIES TO YOU ATHEISTS! We will not push our belief on you, but WE WILL GET OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHTS BACK! WETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!

I would say most people that comment on the subject, that I have read, on this site, do not.
There is an incredible ignorance on how the US gvt works by people on this site. Either civics teachers are just not doing their job or people are just not paying attention in class.

Here’s what separation of church and state means, according to our Constitution:
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
among, of course, other small provisions in the Constitution dealing with religion, such as not requiring a religious test for office.
Ya that’s great and dandy…I don’t know of any atheist politician that wants to rip down churches.
But I do know churches are tax exempt, Christmas is a National Holiday, there’s a nativity scene outside the courthouse, congress opens with a prayer as do many civil government meetings, the word God is on the money and in the pledge…
Separation of church and state my ****. I don’t want to rip down your churches and build science lecture halls (although I feel that would benefit society more), but I want to go maybe just 1 day without God this and God that and Jesus, Christ, Lord, Savior, God God God all over the place.
Can I just go one day without hearing Obama say “God Bless America”? Maybe just one day?
The Christian idea of separation of Church and State is that as long as the State accepts their religion as the only game in town, everything is kosher.
