I just wasshed the blanket from the bed and noticed that it has been stained with tomato sauce that contained some oil as well..Is anything that would work for that?

I tend to love the Tide-to-Go pens. Oh, and I learned that they’re just filled with Hydrogen Peroxide and fragrance. So, I just refill them with peroxide 🙂 If you’ve already washed and not dried, you can use the new Tide Stain Release tablets or powder. I use it in ever load of laundry I do 🙂 Hope this helps!!
Try soaking the spot with undiluted hydrogen peroxide. Then launder as usual.

Your description sounds like far from a little spot that you can magically erase with a Tide to Go pen. They only work well on white and only on a very tiny spot.
I use Spray n Wash stain sticks if the spot is no bigger than 2-3″. Then I use either Biz or Oxyclean double scoop and my regular detergent. If your washer has an extra long stain cycle use that, if not, soak overnight, drain and then add the detergent and run again the next day with 1 scoop of the laundry boosters.
Don’t put it in the dryer unless you have marked near the spot with a safety pin and have either air dried partially or are sure the spot is gone. Otherwise run it through again.
