I was wondering if there was a piece of software that would allow you to scan in a piece from a jigsaw puzzle and then put it together? I am thinking of “technology” that is see in these forensic style t.v. shows.

hahhahaha. That cracks me up. No such thing as “improve the image”.
Technically, scanning puzzle pieces to solve it is possible, but making the algorithm would be hell.
