  • yeh geese..horrible things chased me and i don’t care what anyone says it was scary and they are very vicious!!!

  • Considering the amount of time I have spent with animals of all types I would have to say almost never attacked. However there was a time I was just walking down a residential street with my husband and a pit bull got loose from its owner and attacked me. On another occasion I was trying to get a really close picture of a moose and it started to charge. When I was very young I was bitten by a chipmunk. On all other occasions when an animal caused me injury it was my own stupidity that caused it. In fact, the only unprovoked attack was by the pit bull. I really believe that no normal animal wants to attack humans. People get hurt usually because they are not careful and respectful of the animal.

  • Not ‘attacked’ exactly, but I was walking along the sea front one day with my wife when I noticed this massive dog sitting in the sun outside a small shop. It was the biggest dog I had ever seen in my life, looked the size of a donkey.

It was looking very placid and peaceful, I patted it on its very large head, I said some like ” Whos a lovely dog then”? and I carried on walking, suddenly this monster thing had got my hand and half my arm down its throat , it was lightly gripping my arm, just below the elbow. the rest was well down its neck! I just knew it could have chomped right through my arm if it really wanted to!

What really made it all very strange was the beast was now standing up and its four legs and was wagging its tail! It really was massive.

I couldnt speak I was almost cra**ing myself, I was still walking slowly along and making some strange gurgling sounds, my wife looked at me and then saw the animal firmly attached with half my arm down its neck!

“Will you stop messing with that dog, people are looking” she said!!! And so they were, there was quite a line walking behind us , they didnt know what to make of it.

This went on for about 20 yards , the dog suddenly let go and walked off still wagging its tale!

I’ve never patted a dog since.

  • Yes – I was in the pub grounds where they had pigs, chickens

etc. What I did not realise was, there were grazing sheep and

one came running straight to me and my daughter! I pushed

my little girl out of the way but this Ram kicked me on my bum!

It was badly bruised and my husband wanted to claim some kind of compensation for me. So he took a photo – showing clearly

the hoofmarks. But there was no where I was going to let an office full of people have a laugh at my posterier! We did

complain about the animals though because they were very

poorly looked after and a lot of them were taken away. It was

in the height of Summer and there was no water for them.

So some good came out of it after all. I consider those

animals more important than my injury – But if he had have

kicked my toddler daughter, it would surely have killed her.

So – I could be telling you a very different story.

  • that’s particularly unlikely which you have killer squirrels at your region. first, there is fairly some nutrition available springtime, squirrels are no longer ravenous. 2nd, the robin mum and dad are around and have no purpose of leaving their toddlers, so except the squirrel has the character of a predator (hawk, fox, coyote) it basically could have an interest interior the goings on particularly than debating tricky grownup robins for a meal. additionally, this could be a touch youthful squirrel and curious as to all the interest in wood the place birds often come and circulate particularly than proceed to be positioned. additionally, that’s exciting that your section has bluejays yet, we seem to have misplaced all of them in my section, we had such fairly some years in the past, the final one I heard replace right into some months in the past, now there is silence. crows have been long previous for years,

  • i was attacked by a squirrel monkey when I was a primate keeper. It formed a co-operative with a titi monkey living on the same island. When I went over to feed them, the titi created a temparory diversion whilst the squirrel monkey charged me with gusto, swung off my bunches, onto the shoulder and bit my ear!!! Then it peed down my back and legged it!! seriously, it really did happen.

  • Never a squirrel, but when I was a child I was attacked by a flock of geese. I’m not kidding. Geese are mean. They left bruises all over me and, at the age of three, I thought I was going to die. I’ll never forget it. But as far as pit bulls or polar bears, I’ve never had any problems.

  • Aggressively attacked by: cats, dogs, humans

Not kidding about the cats. My neighbor had a vicious cat that would run after people and grab with the front claws and kick with the hind claws. Horrid thing. When my neighbor moved out, she left the cat to the people who bought her house. They had kids. The cat disappeared a couple of weeks later. I bet the grown-ups quietly got rid of the cat.

Attacked me because I tried to pick them up: lizards, snakes, crayfish, crabs, (the list goes on and on!). An alligator lizard can inflict a painful bite!

  • I was stuck by the barb from a catfish which turned out to be poisonous – Most embarrassing when in the hospital as the nurses kept coming to have a look at the Muppet stuck by a fish!

  • No, I haven’t, but I have heard about an old guy who got attacked by a cougar in the new, recently. He was fine, but then he got rushed back to the hospital. I don’t know if that was what you wanted, but I did take your question seriously.

  • When I was younger I my sister and I were attacked by a dog, we had to run for it, our father tried to shoot it with a BB gun, I hate to think what would have happened if it had caught us <shivers>. I’ve also been attacked by geese, which sounds like it wouldn’t be that bad, but those things are vicious if they think you came to close to their young, seriously, I didn’t think the thing was going to stop chasing me… apparently animals don’t like me, lol.
