I was just wondering if the future conditional verb ‘blesserions’ works in this sentence:
Aujourd’hui, je vais parler de la pollution et le rechauffement climatique parce que il est en augmentation considérablement et si nous continuons polluer autant que nous le faisons actuellement nous BLESSERIONS le monde.
With the intention of the verb being “We could hurt the planet”
Am I using the verb correctly or should I not use the future conditional in this case??

I don’t know. But it sounds like the name of a Detroit techno outfit that would make Kraftwerky jazzy electronica. “French future conditional translation” could be their name and “blesserions” could be the single. “We could hurt the planet” could be the LP.

The verb is correct but means “we WOULD hurt the planet”. What you want is “nous pourrions + verb”, speaking of which we only use “blesser” about living beings in French. Sure, it could be used as a metaphor but coming from a foreigner it just looks like a mistake.
So I suggest you use “pourrions faire du mal/nuire au monde”.
I also think that “la planète” sounds better in the context of environment.
