  • Increasing the current would require an increase in voltage, the resistance remains the same – at least to start with. However the increased current will cause heating which will increase the resistance.

  • It does not effect the resistance. The voltage causes the current and the total resistance controls the amount of amperage of the current.

    The resistance can change the voltage at that point in the circuit by the current passing through it.

  • TO do this use the relationship Voltage = Current * Resistance or V = IR solved for R we get R = V/I so as I increases the resistance decreases if the voltage is constant.
