  • Well the energy it takes to lift weights is created in your muscles. It is glucose converting into ATP adenosine tri phosphate. Sugars. The type of energy the weight lifter creates is potential energy. that is the weights are lifted and they will then need to be let back down. That then creates kinetic energy. also the transference of energy from the weightlifter becomes heat (a form of energy) and sound and more kinetic energy in the air that flows around the area that the weightlifter is displacing as they move.
