I am just looking for recent (20 or later) statistics on how much of crops in British Columbia are left unharvested. In tonnes would be preferable, but in $ is ok. Even information on the amount produced and the amount sold in a particular year would help (but both have to be in the same units). It is actually better if the information is specific to the Okanagan Valley, or only regarding fruit production. I want to use this information to illustrate how much good food is wasted. Citations would also be appreciated.
