  • Anywhere from $60,0 to $1,0+, depending on the company. These days the big earners are the Gulf of Mexico guys. Captains at Harvey Gulf (16 ton Master) are making $8 per day.

    When I sailed unlicensed the tugs were mainly 2 ton Masters pulling down easily $4 or $5 per day. Some companies have rates listed, surf around and see what is out there now.
