how to fix a dryer that wont heat to dry, but runs?

The dial doesnt turn while dryer is running. the dryer will not heat up while running. ALL connections in the back of dryer are connected

    but the dial is stuck bad the timer has a mechanism function.

    Your heater has to be tested as your timer may be screwing with the lack of heat and your heater coil may still be good.

  • sounds like your heating element has gone out. yes, your dryer will still run even if it won’t heat. i guess if your dryer savy you can replace it yourself, otherwise you’ll have to call a dryer repair man.

  • You need to look and see if the heating elements are still any good. I doubt it.
