How to open petrol cap on m reg fiesta?

Just brought a fiesta, the petrol cap won’t come off. I need as much info as possible, what key I use I got two, one ignition one boot! It’s like a poppit type deal, I can put the lid up and it moves but the keys ain’t making any difference

Twist the key Anti clockwise to unlock it, they can be stiff and a bit of oil in the keyhole will help considerably.

With most locking caps, they spin freely unless you rotate the key. Then the outer engages the inner, and then you can twist to remove.
