How were the suspects Tsarnaevs connected to the bombings?

I know they had pictures of them and later identified them, but how did they know they were behind the bombings??

  • The videos showed them carrying the bombs (which were inside duffle bags), leaving them at the explosion sites, and leaving.

    That is the only evidence that has been made known to the public so far.

  • As far as I can tell, what they were initially basing this off of was pictures and surveillance videos of them with the backpacks, placing them on the ground, and walking calmly away while explosions occurred in the locations they were seen setting the backpacks down. And now I’m sure they’re also using what was recovered from the cars the suspects were driving as evidence also. Supposedly they recovered weapons and more bombs of the same type used at the Marathon.

  • No evidence so far. Still waiting for physical, circumstancial evidence. Gov. Deval Patrick claims there is video, so we should demand that he have law enforcement release the video.

  • Oh, I don’t know, maybe the fact that they later ambushed and killed a policemen, hijacked a car, and then started shooting at and throwing improvised bombs at the police. That may have tipped them off to the fact that MAYBE they might be the bombers.

  • That is what I am still trying to figure out. I am trying to figure out if Martial law was declared for MA or was it just on lockdown.
