also i discovered that when i press on the spot where the cam is it utrns normal for about a minute than goes green again….should i maybe take it back or is there anyway to fix this?

you can go to the toshiba website and do a search for your particular model and see if there are updates required for the camera to function
if this doesnt work i would suggest sending the laptop in and claiming your warranty
it is going to already be put in as a working gadget. you in basic terms ought to apply sofware that utilises the webcam i.e. MSN, yahoo messenger, Skype. They each have their own buttons to make it happen.
