  • if you want to start from square one and you have the install discs then back up info and format. but i have a feeling it came preinstalled with the recovery partition. i would do the recovery option first.

  • If the drives are IDE drives (huge connectors which i think of they’re), they might desire to be set to comprehend and slave. Set your XP demanding force to the grasp and your mothers to the salve. Then flow into the BIOS and make confident your demanding force is indexed as grasp and hers because of the fact the 2d or slave and make confident it boots from the same old hardr force first. Boot the pc and it is going to boot into XP (as that’s what you have on your demanding force and yours is the same old). flow into my pc and you’re able to see her demanding force sitting there incredibly fortuitously the place you are able to take the information off of. this is not likely, yet once you probably did no longer floor or earth your self (by using the two touching the case or using a grounding strap), then you incredibly would desire to have given the demanding force an electric ask your self and killed it and if it develop into left rolling around in the motor vehicle etc. although that’s no longer very probably. attempt that and touch me and allow me comprehend if it works or no longer. stable success. Tom EDIT: Why do you like XP off your demanding force to place in 20 on!?

  • Pc recovery won’t fix it, all it does is recover old deleted files. Its helpfull, but most of the time it won’t read the complete file, but restore is recover computer and delets the recover files (which makes it faster)
