Today I was cleaning my goldfish’s tank and usually when i take her out and put her in a different container she’s fine. But today when I put her back in her tank I noticed a silver scale fall to the ground. And then when I looked into the container that I had had her in previously there were two orange scales. Does this mean anything? Is she sick?

Goldfish can lose some of their scales when they want to breed. It’s completely normal for this to happen. Good luck! 🙂
Why are you taking her out to clean the tank? You shouldn’t do that. You just use a gravel siphon to change 25% of the water with the fish still in the tank.
this is quite normal. sometimes a gold fish scale’s would come of but they will nearly always grow back with some love and attention. when some scales fall of, somtimes they can get diseases so always watch her behaviour till they grow back. it also could of been that bit of stress
