  • In my opinion it is worth it. I really don’t like Microsoft Works or OpenOffice. I find it very helpful throughout my daily life from school (college), to work, and even at home. Also if you know anyone that goes to college, ask them if that college has Microsoft Office. Most of them do. And most of the time colleges have Microsoft Office Enterprise Edition, or the edition. And sell them for like $. Enterprise comes with:

    *Microsoft Access (Database)

    *Microsoft Office Outlook (E-Mail)

    *Microsoft Excel (Speadsheet)

    *Microsoft Groove

    *Microsoft OneNote

    *Microsoft Word

    *Microsoft Powerpoint

    *Microsoft Publisher

Also for like only $ or so more you can get Microsoft Office Home and Student. It includes Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Word.

In all I think it is worth it and I own Microsoft Office Enterprise Edition.

    Also it never expires.

  • Office ‘s liscense does not expire.

OpenOffice.org and Abiword are good free alternatives. I don’t know enough about your life to know if it is worth your hard earned $.

You can use it on two computers. Two computers and only two computers.

  • I purchased office (student version) then purchased microsoft outlook by itself (cheaper in AU). I rang Microsoft and asked the question. It is OEM but they allow you to use it on one desktop and one laptop. Other options is open office or Ashampoo have and office program, not sure how compatible to microsoft it is but, they are the choices, or and older version on eBay?
