May I use images that I found in the internet to create Android App?

I have one quick question about creating Android App.

I am planning to set 4 backgrounds and there are many good pictures in the Google image.

Am I allow to use them to create my new android app?

  • Not without the picture owner’s permission, no. Some people don’t care if there backgrounds are shared but you should try to contact them just in case or put credit to the websites you got the images from and a link to there page in your app.

  • Ask for the image publisher’s permission. May be via e-mail or mail or another option. If you are given permission, you must also include their name in your app’s credit.
