I’ve got this character in my story who lacks a name. Literally, I’m eighty six pages in and I refer to her as X. It’s begining to bother me that I can’t find a fitting name so of course I’m asking you.
Okay, so she has dyed black hair, a piercing on her nose and a tattoo of a vine on her shoulder. She’s mean. Not like, snobby bitchy mean, but mean for no reason other than she’s bored and thinks of something clever or sarcastic to say. X has her own small group of friends, who are mentioned a bit, and are all similar to her, yet she’s the only one who’s made it a hobby of ruining a person’s day or putting them down. She enjoys making people feel bad.
She’s partially based from the character ‘Jade’ from Victorious and partially from the character ‘Jazz’ from the book _Define Normal_, and partially from my imagination.
She doesn’t do drugs or smoke and she is still a virgin. She talks like she’s familiar with these things, but has never done anything bad enough to mess up her life. She has, however, gotten into fights and threatened people in a way that sounds joking but edges on serious.
She wears mostly black, but has a sexier twist on it.
Okay, well, I hope you can help me! I really need it, and if I can, I’ll answer yours!
Thanks in advance!

My first question is why does this character act the way she does if she has no real reason to. Hmm….my interest is piqued.
I would suggest making a name up, throw sounds around until it suits her. Is this name cool and edgy like her or is it so plain she takes on another name to go with who she’s making herself to be?
If nothing comes to mind babybook her a name.
Story sounds interesting…
