My mom does so much for others and not enough for herself.
Unfortunately she is a domestics violence victim (she finally kicked the bastard out and file charges/restraining order).
Well, he controlled EVERYTHING!! Down to her underwear. He actually cut up all of her things (which she, like most women, prefer to wear for no panty line).
I am only 18 and just started working a new job so I do not have too much money to spend. Around $50-$60 is my max :/
I’m between a $25 gift card at Victoria’s secret (this will buy 5 pairs (5 for $25 deal), or actually picking the underwear out myself.
Second option is a pair of black rainbow flip flops. She has been really needing a nice pair of black flip flops and would never spend $50 on herself.
Either way I’m going to get her a card, take her to dinner (which she will insist to pay for so I won’t be able to pay), and get her some flowers.
Which do you think? I can’t decide :/

I’m very glad that your mother was able to stand up and kick him out! That’s a great thing to be able to say you have done, especially since a lot of people are living abused every day and no one has any idea of it.
Anyway! I think that a 25$(Or possibly more) gift card to Victoria’s Secret is perfect! Especially since your mother could get get perhaps a pair of flip flops from VS. I have a few friends that have bought flip flops from there. There are plenty of ways that your mother could spend the gift card if panties isn’t the only thing that she would like to have. (:
