my gb micro sd card is working when i put it in the phone , but when i put it in the laptop it asks me to format before i could use it…what to do??..please help..phone is e..

Update:

by working i mean i am able to browse through the files in the card and play songs and images…the card reader is a multi card reader with a usb pin…which is otherwise working fine..

  • When you say working in your phone what do you mean.

    If on phone you go to MENU, TOOLS, MEMORY, does it return what you expect to see. can you also see the data you should have in the card,

    If all o.k then your card reader must be at fault. are you using an sd to micro adapter or does your reader accept micro cards
