My laptop keeps freezing?

Hello, my laptop keeps freezing, but its usually only after I close a game on it. I’m using a Lenovo 30 N1 with windows XP SP3 installed. I’ve had this laptop for a good two years of gaming, I’m only 16 so, I kinda game a lot. But it hasn’t had this problem til recently, this laptop is pretty much all I use, although I’m getting a new computer soon, I’d rather have this laptop because I like having something thats portable, anyone think they know what the problem is? Could it be the ram dying on me? Maybe the CPU?

  • The most common cause of computer freezes is a corrupt registry.

Corruption within your registry keys, registry classes, and registry settings are the most common causes of Windows error messages.

The Computer registry is a database that stores all of your computer

settings. The computer registry becomes more complex as you use your computer. The more programs you use the greater the chance your

computer registry will develop errors and become bloated over time. Without cleaning the registry on a regular basis it is very likely that your PC will freeze.

Cleaning the Windows registry improves the performance of your computer and will reduce the number of PC freezes. The Registry cleaner cleans the registry and frees up Windows registry space.

Completely clean your windows registry with a few clicks of the mouse

  • Depending on howvmuch games you have installed, it could be just overloaded. Be sure to intall all patches for your games and video card. Also SP3 does have some known issues, but is mainly with networking. You can try adding some more RAM to it.

  • sp3 has caused a lot of problems, if the games are pre sp3 they may well crash on closing freezing the computer, most games are not very well written with tight code which causes problems as well
