My mouse that I’ve had for a very long time just started clicking twice and sometimes not at all when i clicked once so i took it apart and cleaned it up and tried to screw it back on but the top section has something that is sticking out and the bottom part has the same so it won’t come together. I tried taking out all of the wires and trying to fit in on like that but it still wouldn’t work. It is about 5 mm away at the front of the mouse from touching.
Update:
I fixed it. All i had to do is slide the top from the back onto the bottom.
