PARENTS: Would you rather have your child MISSING or MURDERED?

Would you rather have them missing or murdered?

For me, it is murdered because with missing, I don’t know what is happening, maybe my child is dead, possibly being tortured or alive and well and has forgotten all about me.

But, if your child was just “missing” then you at least have a little bit of hope.

So answer honestly please!

Update:

you guys, just please answer the question

I DIDN’T MEAN TO OFFEND YOU!

Update 2:

i’m totally normal, i am just wondering

im a smart person, nothing is wrong w/ me!

  • id rather have murdered because id rather know she is dead then keep worrying about her sitting in an even longer grievance. im going to say it in a nice way since all the other people are a ssholes. this wasnt a very nice question to ask because people dont want to think about that… but i know you were probably just curious

  • Well since you did ask the question and you are obviously looking for an answers, I won’t be so rude as to say “what the hell kind of question is that”.. even though it is on the odd side..

I, OF COURSE, would not wish either! of course not! but i would have to say murdered. Missing would cause too much hope and agony. It would be hard never knowing the truth, always thinking that some day they might just walk in the door and say “hey mom, i’m home!”.

But like I said before… NEITHER

  • I may find this question a bit odd but will give your credit for asking it . I have heard people discussing the same thing in real life. I guess it is because what I do for a living ( social work) . I have deal with many missing kids cases and some times us staff have to sit down and deal with our own feelings on certain issues that we would rather avoid. Of course I see and deal with very unpleasant things almost daily that if I was to bring up here people would think I was sick too….. that why I only talk about it with others in my feild of work.

  • Well, I never wanted to compare these because it is a subject to horrible to dwell on. I did all I could to protect my son, I told him to scream his head off if a stranger tried to take him, not to be lured to a stranger by anything. Your basic stranger danger speech and I constantly reinforced this every time we went to the mall, park, movie. And then he had a growth spurt at 13 and was 6ft and I still kept reminding until one day he looked down at me and said “Mom, you’vee got nothing to worry about. When he was 6’3” …I told him to drive safely…..but back to your question I would much rather him be missing because I would have hope, and he might be found. Unless, you’ree a mom like Casey Anthony or Susan Smith, who apparently just wanted their innocent babies gone.

Also, wanting them murdered so you can be at peace

seems a bit selfish. How do you find peace if your child is murdered?

  • Although it’s horrible to think about i’ll answer truthfully. I would rather have them murdered as long as it was quick. With them missing there is that unknown and they could be being tortured or sold into sex slavery, ect. I think the unknown would be unimaginable and if they were murdered at least they are at peace and not having to go though that hell for possibly years and years.

This is coming from someone who was kidnapped for 9 months back when i was 5yo. The FBI finally was able to track me down.

  • What a terrible question to ask here.

I will tell you something, My neighbours son went missing on the Canadian Thanksgiving week end. October 13 28. Maybe type in Brandon Crisp in your browser. Read all about Brandon and look at his picture, then read about the tragic ending to this beautiful boys life. This affected all of our country and 17 attended Brandon’s funeral. My family and myself have never got over this yet.

Please be so kind, as not to ask this type of question here in the future.

It helps us to guard our newborn from a ability predator or ourselves from a loopy guy or woman accessible interior the wind. in case you may relatively this stay a private concern, then you definately could have or no longer it is that there could be not extra “Amber alerts” or “Code Adams” or that police does no longer use scanners or that “Americas maximum wished” no longer aired. with out those materials many many extra tragedies could take place and you need to take a seat at homestead and watch your shows approximately Wars and Politics i assume. Heaven forbid you’re by no potential in a concern the place you may o.k. desire those merchants.

  • This is a question I could never answer. I want her with me, safe always. If she was missing I wouldn’t know where she was, if she was hurting, or anything else, but if she was murderd she wouldn’t have a chance to live her life that she deserves to live. I gave birth to her so she chould live, grow, learn, and eventually have a family of her own and be loved, and love. Not for someone to hurt her or take that precious life away.

  • er…interesting question…very clever, you got so many people answering. People are attracted to shocking questions i guess.

Obviously if given the option i would rather my child missing than murdered. I don’t understand your logic in preferring that they are murdered. That’s like choosing between the worst possible thing to happen and a slightly worse thing but with a bit of hope. I choose hope over despair.

  • wow. people are so rude. its a question out of curiousity. its not like you actually want it to happen. i’m sorry for people’s rudeness.

i don’t even think i could choose if i was a mother. i get what you are saying though, murder for the peace of mind and knowing they arent being tortured, but like missing for the hope

my year old have a fever of .?

Answers Favorite AnswerDon't be too alarmed. He's not going to have a "fit" as the other answer suggested. Babies get higher fevers than adults do. . is considered a mild to moderate fever. If your other child had the virus, then it's very likely that the baby has it too. You can use pedialyte or any electrolyte solution to keep the baby from getting dehydrated. Try putting some in a medicine dropper and giving it every minutes when he's awake. Infant tylenol will help with the fever and any pain he's in. Call your doctor for the correct dosage. Usually if the baby is weaned, you should stay away from milk for a day or two. If he's breastfed, you can usually continue as normal. Dry snacks and bananas can help with diarrhea if that happens. If he still has a fever on Tylenol or it lasts more than a day or two I'd take him to the doctor.Source(s): Mommy to year old. isn't a fever. It doesn't even warrant medication. What else can I do to help her?

Answers Favorite Answer*Dairy can actually 'plug up' a child more. So if she has a lot of yogurt or cheese frequently,I'd cut some of that out of her diet for now. Other than that. Increase the amount of FRUIT you're giving her. There is far more fiber in the flesh and peel of fruits than in juice. Juice in all honesty is flavored sugar water with vitamin c. That is unless you fresh squeeze all of the juice you give her. And that is not the easiest for most of us who are busy! Soft fruits high in Fiber :-Apples-Avocado-Bananas (this one surprises most people)-Berries ; strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc-Dried fruits ; Figs, Raisins, Apricots, Dates, etc.-Oranges-Pears-Prunes (actually at the bottom of the 'highest fiber fruits' list)yes more liquids, try a small amount of prune juice, please skip suppositories, any un-needed medications are not good for young children / babies, they can cause harm in the long run. Does baby go daily? Also what foods you are feeding be sure they are age appropriate!Have you ever spoken to a pediatric gastroenterologist about it?I have a feeling you may be giving too much juice.prun juice helps and massaging her belly with baby oil Read more
