Question regarding powerwashing and oil !!!?!?! please help !?

So this lady hired me with a small gig, She just saw me powerwashing the dirt from my sidewalk and asked me if I could do it for her !
But she asked if I could powerwash her driveway that has nasty oil stains. I said yes, by the way, I’m 16 and the job will be done in Lewisville ,Texas ! I’m not a company at all, but I do work in a tire shop were I could dispose the oil. I’ve read a lot of environment things regarding that it might go into the water streams below us etc. I need to know if I will get it trouble. I do know what I’m doing powerwashing wise. I will be using that “Purple Power” one that is suppose to be broken down by earth but of course, oil isn’t. How do I save the oil ? Do I need any permits or something? I mean, I’d rather powerwash it that for it to keep building up. There isn’t any drains nearbye or anything so that’s good. Any help out all will help and tips to not get in trouble! Such as containing the actual oil etc. Not a company at all. Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!

  • There can’t possibly be enough oil on the driveway to be able to contain and remove it.

If you’re worried about generating a large amount of runoff, why not put down some concentrated (or lightly diluted) detergent and let it sit for a while, maybe scrub it with a brush, and then quickly power wash the area. Try to drive the runoff off to the side or somewhere other than into the gutter where some city official or fire dep’t ween with too much time on his hands might see it.
