i was want to know how can i piggy back off there using my wifi on my laptop or di i need to buy anything special,like a WiFi outdoor antenna or something,the reason im asking is due to my my finances and bills i am turning off all i can and wanting to get out of debt,because im disabled and live on 7 a month,but still the internet to pay bills online ,and oh the nearest neighbor is like 3 min walking distance

You can connect to and use a unsecured wireless signal. But please be advised this information can be intercepted by a hacker or someone that knows what they are doing. So you can compromise your personal information.

Here’s the thing..
If they are using wired connection, you cannot access their Internet but if they’re using Wireless connection then you can access their Internet but with their consent (if wifi is password protected).
So, as suggestion to lower your monthly bills..
Try to talk to your neighbor and discuss a deal with their monthly internet bill. Ask them that if its possible to subscribe to their WIFI and you’ll just pay a small amount to your subscription.
Example: Their monthly bill for internet connection is $1, and you’ll be giving like $25 or $20 for your monthly subscription.
So, you saved more money right?
Go and talk to them. 🙂
Source(s): I am also subscribed to our neighbors Internet connection (wifi) and paying Php2/month. Maybe their monthly bill is like Php1,5 below or above, unsure.
Well goto your laptops wireless settings and see if it picks up any signals and if theres no lock on them u can get on and use it no problem
