Should NASCAR consider making the rear spoiler bigger to make the draft stronger?

I see the cars struggle to pull up to the one in front and I don’t want a Daytona 5 all over again, the bigger spoiler would punch a bigger hole in the air lowering drag to the cars behind.

  • I see that mbl is basically proposing what Kyle Petty suggested for Darlington–fill it to the top with water, dump bass in there, and hold fishing tournaments.

The problem with a bigger spoiler is that it leads to pack racing, which leads to the Big One, which leads to half the field getting damage for no damn reason.

  • Talladega is the most boring track in Nascar. Flood the place and forget about it forever.
