Someone made a fake instagram account pretending to be me?
One of my friends got tagged in a picture on instagram from a random account under my name. The icon of the account is one of my facebook profile pictures, and the person that got tagged cant see the person who made the instagrams account because their private and they wont accept anyone to follow them. I’ve tried making random accounts and having my friends follow them just to see if they would accept so i can see what there posting as “me” but they wont accept our follows and i cant see who follows them or who they follow because their on a private account. Are there any laws against this? what should i do? me and my friends have reported it but it doesnt do anything

Sadly this happens alot, and there is really nothing you can do except for now on ha ve a certain label on your pics so for who ever sees it knows its really you and the person can be exsposed (:

Only thing to do is file a report (which you did) and wait for a response.
