  • Yes because a mixed economy isn’t focused on one source or one thing but rather a mix. Because of this it doesn’t really heavily on one thing, which means if one of them fails, it can still support itself. Hope i helped XD

  • yes because a mixed economy is like if you were to grow an orchard of fine apples but lets say instead of growing just one apple you grew ten different kinds and of those ten there came a disease and wiped out 2 types of apples but you still have 8 others working perfectly same with economy there is bound to be a disaster some where and if you have different ways of making money as long as a disaster happens but you have different varieties of incoming money you have back up ways on which to fall on and keep going but if you stick with one its like planting tomatoes in an orchard and there comes a disease and all tomatoes are the same and alike well they will all get destroyed and along with them your years of hard work.

  • The term “mixed economy” generally refers to an area where they are different types of businesses. For example: In a place where a mine was the major employer (90%), everything is fine while there is work. Should the mine close down, then those jobs are lost, unemployment rises, purchasing power of the people declines, etc. This would not be known as a mixed economy area. In a mixed economy (with different types of jobs), the problems stated above are minimized. Therefore, a mixed economy is more desirable.

  • a mixed economy is more desirable because there are more jobs in different fields available to people and the country also produces more diverse products, therefore its more productive.
