Two Missing Cats, Lost At The Same Time, Brother & Sister, Both Fixed?

I don’t understand, they were from a litter of six, born outside in our yard, underneath the shed 1 1/2 years ago, 4 mos. later mom & kittens were all fixed w/ shots, the mama kitty was a stray that never left us to this day. The mother cat spends most her time indoors, sleeps alot but all her babies LOVE the out doors, they come inside at dusk to eat & all 6 brothers & sisters (like a pack) after eating make a B-Line to our bedroom at night until 2am to 4am , all want to go back outside, scratching & meowing till I wake-up to let them outside. Every morning around 6-7am there at the back door for food (at dawn) after that all cats are out of sight sleeping during the day outside. It’s been the same routine for 18 months. Since we’ve been missing the 2 cats I got breakaway collars & put there rabies tag on the others, I had a fear of cats w/ collars before this, but discovered the breakaways. Yes, from time to time during the day you might see 1 or 2 show-up for a little bit but during the day hours not much. I’ve been to two shelters, local vets, posters, talking to neighbors, a ad on craigslist, where oh where are those 2 cats?? I walk around calling for them thinking maybe there trapped somewhere & a neighbor said her thinks he spotted them..not together..in his backyard,( he has cats) we went to his backyard 4 in the morning w/ wet food but no show, I hope it was them because it takes away the concern of them being trapped some where.

  • So what are you asking? You have yet to ask a question. You let them out. They are gone. Done and done. Sheesh. You should not have let them out. Too bad. If they come back, keep them indoors. Duh.

  • first of all, spay the mummy cat. Then, no destiny issues. you’re able to get the two kittens fixed, maximum in all possibility around 4-5 months of age. assume you come to a decision to not get the male neutered. You land up with an aggressive kitten, who will spray rather foul urine around, will run off to get a girl in warmth pregnant, and in all possibility come back all beat up, ensuing in high priced vet expenses. so which you get the male performed, yet not the female. a girl in warmth is relatively grotesque to be around. she would be ready to spray urine to sell, and her total concentration would be in escaping to discover a mate. And while she gets pregnant, it only provides to greater kittens, while tens of millions of residences can not be stumbled on for those already born. Spay/neuter expenditures variety. some shelters furnish low priced spay/neuter clinics, so as this is something to examine into. normally, a male could be around $a hundred, and a girl two times that. Few vets will in elementary terms do a spay/neuter without added vaccinations, and those would be mandatory regardless. suggested fee incorporates distemper vaccinations.
