I’m babysitting in 12 minutes and this is like, the first time ever I’ve babysitted, except my brother… and I need to know what little girls like to do! I don’t want to bore them…

    Lol, they’re no different than little boys. Depending on their ages, the best thing you can do is follow their lead if you’re unsure about what they like.

    Hide and seek is always a fabulous stand by. So is coloring, dress up, hairdo parties, board games, barbies, and as a last resort – build a fort!

    No kid can resist a fort.

    Kids will never be bored if they have someone who pays attention to them. You’ll be fine, just have fun. 🙂

  • If they have pretend food play restaurant! My daughter LOVES restaurant. Any board game. Running in the sprinklers, sand box, baking cookies, play house. And then there’s always tv. Unless my daughters were in a day care then I’d never expect a babysitter to entertain my kids all day. I don’t even do that. If I ever have a non family babysitter I’d have it a free for all. TV, pizza, icecream and movies. My daughter would love that. Then if they wanted to play a game it would be something fun to do rather than filling time.

    Some moms want a babysitter to play with their kid all day. I would not be that way.

    All this was lots of fun for the kids I watched in high school,I let them help make it all,and that was half the fun.

  • I don’t know how young is little to you, but typically they like dolls, playing dress-up. Some even like it when you teach them new things, however, make sure they’re GOOD new things. 😛

    If she’s old enough to talk well, you should ask her what she wants to do.
