What do you do when someone insults your Idol?

I’m not saying who my Idol is and you don’t have to.

My Idol saved my life I love hi so much.

Someone called him a ****** and I smacked her really hard across the head. Also my history teacher sad he should be put on the death penalty so I hit him.

I get so angry. It’s like he is my family and I feel like I have to protect him.

Does anyone else do this?

Update:

him* (My ‘m’ key is an idiot)

  • My idol is Michael Jackson. . He is the main reason I’m even still alive. I dealt with horrible depression, was very suicidal, and he was what got me thru it. I never got to meet him, but he was all I had when I didn’t have anything else, AT ALL. Tho I hadn’t met him, I felt a strong connection to him and I defend him as if he was an actual friend or family member.

And people critize him, a lot. I have gotten into so many heated fights because of people saying horrible things, about things they know nothing about. Michael Jackson was a GOOD AMAZING human being, but people wanna listen to medias BULLSHIT about him and say things that aren’t true. I have always defended him and always will.

I’m not going to get into all of it, but there was many times I got into it BAD with people. One time I even actually was close to stabbing my grandpas wife with a knife….. Yes, I understand that’s crazy, but she said something absolutely horrible, and just two days after his death so it effected me even more and I freaked out. I stood up, grabbed a knife and almost went her. I had to be held down by a cousin, uncle and sister. Surprisingly tho…. Everyone that was around and witnessed me trying to go after her…. Didn’t care. My family didn’t really like Michael but knew I loved him, and knew that what my grandpa’s wife said was completly horrible and uncalled for, so they didn’t mind me reacting the way I did. They actually got mad at HER, and just held me back because they didn’t want me going to jail…. But yeah… I defend Michael to the point where I will physically do something. It has to be REALLY horrible for me to physically attack… Otherwise I just use words, most the time.

Michael Jackson was about LOVE. and I try to spread the same message. But when it comes to Michael, knowing how good of a person he was, I defend him completly. I will do anything up defend him. You mentioned how whoever your idol is, kinda feels like family. And that’s EXACTLY how I feel about Michael Jackson. Especially considering the fact that when I didn’t have family to turn too, I still had Michael. (there were years where my parents were severely abusive, and constantly put me down. For awhile I didn’t consider them family. We’re good now…. But weren’t for a long time..)

Do you mind saying who your idol is? Couple people mentioned how they think it’s Justin Bieber… I don’t like or dislike him and you said someone said he deserves the death penalty…. If your idol is Justin, then there’s no reason why someone should say he needs the death penalty. Just because people don’t like someone, doesn’t mean they should say that person should die

  • Just shrug your shoulder and say “I don’t know why you felt the need to tell me all this” and walk away. I don’t see much criticism for my idol because he’s not known, he’s an unsigned artist.

Hitting your teacher is not a very clever idea, but I find it quite shocking that he could say something like that. A history teacher should know better, if he knows the subject he teaches, he knows all the violence and injustice that was committed against innocent people. Just proves my point that teachers are useless.

Consider taking up martial arts or boxing to relieve your frustrations to help you stop smacking people.

  • those human beings all conflict via a pre-screening technique. (PLEASE! there is far greater good singers available than what’s shown!) They turn many good singers away in the st screening and that they positioned the undesirable human beings via on purpose. television scores hi! And sure, they do sign a settlement till now all of that. And in the event that they did not comprehend that they might probably be insulted then they have been residing below a rock for the previous years. (Plus they might desire to comprehend that they are in a position to’t sing in the st place and save themselves an incredible form of embarrassment.)

  • Did you get expelled, hitting a teacher is quite serious, if someone has an opinion there is nothing you can do apart from rub your vagina, you sound like a lunatic, you should be put to sleep what would would you do if he got an egg thrown at him, murder the culprit, you need to get your head checked out

  • you need to see a psychic, seriously! you hit your teacher?!

i bet it’s justin bieber, cause that sounds like ignorant. do you think your idol knows you exist? you’re probably just one of his fans so shut the ***** up and stop thinking you’re gonna get married to him.

no offence but i’m just a little bit worried that you might kill someone that made fun of your idol to see you cry and end up in prison for the rest of your life.

  • No, I don’t do this. You are probably just a “super fan” who goes all the way to protect their idol. Just ignore them and say “Fine, don’t like them , you’re entitled to your opinion.

  • I do this also but I don’t hit them across the head, I hit them on the shoulder or the arm. Sometimes I cry if they insult my celebrity. Its so not fair

  • I get upset, like any normal fan would. But I don’t let it get to me. My idols have millions of fans. One hater doesn’t matter.

  • I have enough self respect to not have an ‘idol’ so it doesn’t bother me.

  • I’m my own idol so I really don’t have that problem.
