What do you think makes a successful 21st birthday party?

I am doing some research for my research project for school. As you can see above my question is what makes a successful 21st birthday party. Because this is for a school assignment (a really important one) please only sensible answers. E.g. venue, food, theme, cake, organisation etc. also if you’d like you can give some examples of some great 21st’s or any other birthday parties you’ve been to 🙂
