Let’s say that all the technology on earth disappeared. Nothing is left behind to build off of and no stored data with blueprints. Given that we still have the manpower and the minds that knew what they knew before the technology disappeared, how long would it take to rebuild society to what it once was? Does one man have enough knowledge to build a computer from scratch or does it take collective knowledge?

try to start a fire without any modern ignition device, cut down a tree thicker than you can break with your hand
then come back and ask that again
It’s not just the knowledge you need; it’s the division of labour. In fact without the division of labour, the knowledge would soon become extinct.
