Is there any kind of mixture that tastes okay? When I just take shots of jack or something equivalent its horrible.

rum and coke or captain and ginger ale are pretty good.
I think it just kind of depends on your general tastes. Maybe shots aren’t your thing?
I’m a big fan of Ameretto Sours. They are made with Ameretto liqueur and Sour mix. It’s a sweet sipping drink.
Other mixed drinks that are simple and usually pretty tasty are
screwdrivers (vodka and orange juice. They are especially good if you used whipped cream vodka. )
VodkaCran (Vodka and cranberry juice)
Jack and Coke
Bailey’s is an Irish Cream that is really good by itself or in coffee.

Everyone has different tastes, but yeah. Jack is a terrible alcohol. I like Sam Adams Boston Lager, Crown Royal, and Beefeater gin if I had to pick 3.
Most hard alcohol has a strong flavor. If you aren’t a beer person I would consider chasing your alcohol with soda or something similar. Also Malibu rum has a tropical-sweet flavor that tastes a lot less potent than others!

Peanut butter jelly shot. Its chamborde and frangelica. Cant taste the liquor in ir really. And malibu coconut rum is smooth enough to drink straight
Alcohol tastes like **** but with nice things it’s nice 😀 mixing with a drink you like would probably suffice. Unless you only like water…
