Direct x was designed exclusively for windows vista and not windows XP. Officially its not supported. But a private group called Alky Project Hopes to Bring Direct X Gaming to Mac, WinXP, and Linux

If you are going to really download it then Good luck to you… Do a little more reading and research by using Google or Yahoo search.
