Personally I think the whole PPI refund thing is a scam – against the provider.
By applying for a PPI refund, you are freely and willingly admitting that you
(a) did not have the sense to read either the terms and conditions or the credit agreement
(b) did not have the sense to check/uncheck a tick box on the application form pertaining to Payment Protection Insurance
(c) did not have the sense to either notice PPI on your monthly statement or, having seen it, to pick up the phone to call the provider and cancel it.
There is nothing whatsoever wrong with Payment Protection Insurance. It is totally legitimate insurance protecting your payments (and your credit) in instances of unforeseen misfortune.
To willingly take advantage of this insurance facility, and then years later claim it all back falsely alleging it was “mis sold” quite frankly stinks.
There is no magic money tree producing the funds for these “refunds”. It is the providers compelled to pay and they will inevitably increase their interest rates for all future customers simply to compensate for the losses they are not suffering.

Lol XD just leave it in there, it will probably work better than an actual floppy disk, will store more data, and is much less likely to lose your data.
