Either they are two of the most unlucky people in the world, and/ or police lied when they say “pressure cookers” were some of the explosive items hurled at them while the two were being chased, or they are indeed the bombers.
There are a lot of things “unexplained” as of yet, such as how can someone successfully hurl a heavy pressure cooker (specially if filled with metal and explosive powder) from a moving car and not break his arm in the intent? And, how effective would that be if the thrower is NOT aiming at any person in particular?!
Was it the elder bomber, Tamerlan, the one who got off the car to hurl the cooker and thus got riddled with bullets? If that’s the case there was no much “planning” left in him by then.
There’s all sorts of theories of things which look odd, or were photographed odd, etc. And the fact that apparently the FBI and Homeland Security are not getting together on the story has already upset and concerned a few U.S. senators, which I’m sure will keep digging until they get the whole story.
It is really a shame that because the FBI’s surveillance period on Tamerlan had already expired, they were oblivious as to what he went to do in Russia for six months. According to his father he was sleeping till 3 pm. But at what time did he go to bed and where was he during the hours he was awake?
The court date is apparently set for May 30th or 31st (I heard on radio last night), and while cameras will probably not be admitted, someone will “leak” information onto the press. Most people will devour everything which comes out in those “leaks” and on the official press releases (if there are any), but by then some will NOT be interested.

Yes, there were those who thought he’d had his own brother bumped off so that he could be the ‘King of the Massachusetts Camelot’ – lol! Mind you, in those days they didn’t have access to anonymity on the internet – then again, they don’t have that either do they ? anonymity? Wonder how many times this site is looked at and the answers evaluated?
There is no reason to conclude that they didn’t do it. When the number of people around this guy starts to get as large as it is, from law enforcement to court officers to hospital staff, the notion that there is deliberate misinformation being circulated about what he has said since being captured becomes far fetched. He has admitted to carrying out the attack, so I don’t know how anyone can claim that he was a patsy.
