who is ur favorite nascar driver?

I really never really watched any type of car racing at all, but all of a sudden for several years now , I got hooked on it, Dale Jr. is my favorite and also not because of his Father got more interested after his Father tragic death, why him I don’t know, just something about him that is appealing to me, plus I like a lot of other too and plus some I don’t care for at all we hAVE ARE REASONS FOR OUR CHOICES

It is a shame that Jr could n’t carry in his Father;s company where he started but because of other peoples control was unable to fulfill that, and that is a shame for the family but more power and success I do hope in his future with his choices I will be cheering for the EIGHTY EIGHT car all the way.

I see that someone felt the need to defend their choice of this driver in an earlier post because of the implied notion that people are only fans of Jr. because of his dad.

What is wrong with carrying the loyalty from Sr. to Jr.? My family got me into rooting for Sr. just the same as they got me into rooting for my favorite baseball and football teams. Choice of favorite sports personality or team is not necessarily something that has to be a life changing decision, or something that requires great introspection, so it generally makes sense that loyalties are implied from one generation to the next. I easily compare this to immediately rooting for Jr. as soon as he started racing. I liked Sr., so as long as Jr. never comes across as a complete jerk, and continues to compete, I will keep my loyalties with the Earnhardt name.

Besides, the more info I read about Jr., and the more I see him interviewed, the more I like him!
