I just turned 18 years old on October 23rd. I’ve been trying to apply for credit cards but They continue to decline me. I should have excellent credit because I just turned 18 and minors dont have credit history.. can someone help me please?

You may have already established your credit even if your don’t have charge card in your name. Being a 2nd card holder will bring your credit up or down. All depends if was reported from the number 1 card holder paying the bill at least 30 days behind,will get reported on both your credit scores. You are welcome to check your own credit score twice year without it affecting your score. Check your score. To get your credit established get a job, buy car. Then the charge cards will be asking you ,” How much cash do you need to borrow.
The laws have changed. You have to 21 in order to get a credit card on your own, unless you have enough income to qualify. Do you? Credit cards are just that, credit; credit has to be repaid. Credit cards are not free money.
ROFLMAO Credit is earned, you do not have bad credit but you also have no credit. Best cheapest way to establish credit is a secured bank loan pay off over 7 months and repeat. Getting a CC to start your file is stupid
How bizarre? Why on earth would you think you have “excellent” credit history? You actually have no credit history because you have never had credit.
