my itunes was telling me that i needed to uninstall and reinstall it so i did. now it just says that itunes cannot be open because the version is newer or something? please help me.

Go into add/remove programs. Right click on itunes and you will get an option to repair. Any chance you messed with Quicktime? They run together. Repair Quicktime too. If you do not have it go get it. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
Sometimes it just crashes for the moment, it happend to me times and i just restarded and it worked so try it!
