4 year friendship
“bestfriends” and used to be up eachothers butts
they only care about themselves such as their problems and never yours
they cry and bitchh about their problems when they are no where near as bad as yours yet you still listen
its your birthday adn instead of getting you anything they say “you don’t owe me anymore money and you have the sweatshirt” 13 dollars owed and the sweatshirt was giving to you because it doesn’t fit them and they don’t want it.
They didn’t do ANYTHING for your birthday
you tell them how you feel about things and they still do those things
you talk to them about your friendship ending and how they don’t care and all that weeks and weeks ago and nothing has changed
they say they care but dont show it EVER
you tell them something REALLY personal and they “wow thats really personal” and change the subject
they choose others over you
they tell others things you guys have talked about when you tell them not to and they play the stupid card 24/7
What would you do?

I wouldn’t have even put up with them for the four years. People that tell things that I have previously told them not to I don’t consider friends as friends that you have known for that long you should be able to have some amount of trust for, you can’t trust people that will tell others your personal business. Friendship is about both people, if one person only cares about themselves then it is not a friendship but rather a person just wanting attention from everyone and wanting the world to be about them.
Dump them. If they don’t want to give you the time, concern or energy, why would you want to? I know it’s hard especially with people you’ve been friends with for a long time, but you gotta cut the cord. They’re only influencing you negatively. You have to stop and think, is my life better with or without them? What do they bring to the table? If you find yourself stalling or having to think hard about the question, when in doubt, get out!
It’s hard at first, but in the long run, it’ll be the best thing you ever do. It’s the experiences like these that make us who we are and better people and you have to learn from it. You can’t grow as a person with these types of people in your life; they’ll only bring you down because they’re too insecure about themselves and they feel better when they can make someone feel as shitty as them. You don’t need that.

I would be finding a new friend. You really don’t believe this person is your friend after all of this. do you?
The fact that this person repeats information to others, when you have asked them not too cancels the friendship.

I know someone like this, we don’t talk anymore ’cause we go to different schools now but you should really ditch her, I ignore the girl like this and we’ve been friends for 7-8years now. Make some new friends:)
