Xtians why would those in Waco be willing to die for their account of David Koresh, if it wasn’t true?

Were they all just lunatics? Why else would someone be willing die for a lie?

  • millions of people kill and die for lies
  • There is a difference between people who believe a lie dying for that lie, and people who knowingly told a lie dying for it.

Though in their case, they may not have thought their lives were in danger until it was too late to do anything about it.

  • This isn’t the same thing, as you’re attempting to compare apples and oranges. The Koresh followers were brainwashed into following lies. However, the disciples are the ones who told the story of Jesus ressurrecting, therefore they would know if it was true or not, since they were the primary source, not the secondary source.

    Nice try though.

  • as I recall they were not allowed to leave

  • What we do know is Bill Clinton and Janet Reno have the blood of the Branch Davidians on their hands including women and children.

And we know that Before and After Janet Reno took credit for the public burning of the Branch Davidians she was also key note speaker at several Jesuit universities.

  • It’s not about those that were willing to die for the one man. THAT happens all the time — Jim Jones, David Kiresh, Branch Davidians, etc.

It’s really about those that are willing to die even after that man is dead. In David Koresh’s case, almost none (2, 3, 10 maybe). In Jesus case, HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS, since the time he was murdered.

  • What even happened in Waco? Looks like I’m going to need to do a little research…

  • I own land in Whitney….not terribly far from there. That was a sad state of affairs.
