There is a difference between people who believe a lie dying for that lie, and people who knowingly told a lie dying for it.
Though in their case, they may not have thought their lives were in danger until it was too late to do anything about it.
This isn’t the same thing, as you’re attempting to compare apples and oranges. The Koresh followers were brainwashed into following lies. However, the disciples are the ones who told the story of Jesus ressurrecting, therefore they would know if it was true or not, since they were the primary source, not the secondary source.

It’s not about those that were willing to die for the one man. THAT happens all the time — Jim Jones, David Kiresh, Branch Davidians, etc.
It’s really about those that are willing to die even after that man is dead. In David Koresh’s case, almost none (2, 3, 10 maybe). In Jesus case, HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS, since the time he was murdered.
