Nail polish wont come off! And tips?

Okay, so my friend and I like to paint each others toenails when we have sleep overs. She told me she had a new nail polish and it was really pretty. And she was right, it really is pretty but it was also VERY thick. She put on nearly three coats! Its been almost two weeks and its still not chipping or peeling. I tried to take it off with nail polish remover and it didnt even rub any of it off. I tried with a nail file and it takes for ever to get it off. Any tips on how to get it off? It’s driving me insane! I tried soaking my feet too, but that only helped with getting polish on my pinky toe and my fourth toe. :

I’m never letting her use that polish on me again. I can’t remember the brand, but she did get it from Ulta and it was really expensive apparently.

Soak a small cotton pad or cotton ball with acetone and set it on the nail for about 15-20 seconds and then rub it off. It should come off.

I’d schedule an emergency pedicure with an understanding technician. Even if she ends up having to file it off, she can repair the damage. Or, she can use a neutral no-chip gel polish–the kind that is set with a UV lamp–over the hot pink so you can still perform.

    Normally, pure acetone should work.
