How does the economy shape the class structure? Is it always desirable?

well you could do a big study on that, it has everything to do with classes and the people in the know use the knowledge of that to put themselves into positions of power where most of the population is reliant on them .. generally by controlling the economy totally .. owning all the key infrastructure, manufacturing ect ..
