So at my college, we have this Sadie Hawkins dance coming up (girl-ask-guy). I was going to slip a note under this guy’s door telling him that there’s a package waiting for him, and put a package full of brownies and Gatorades/sodas in his mailbox.
The Gatorades and sodas are because that’s how we initially became friends (I’d always go over to get some from him). On them, I was going to write “will you go to the dance with me?” My friends are saying that I should just write the name of the dance on the brownies I made him plus a question mark, since they think the sodas thing is kind of weird.
Opinions?

u should leave out the brownies since it mainly the gatorades and soda u have in common or watever but i think this is a good/cute way to do it but dont bead around the bush. be cute yet straight forward
I think the sodas thing is good. It’s personalized for you. Unless brownies have a special meaning for you two, the sodas thing is better.
Jus make him heart brownies and draw a big card all decoated saying would u go to the sadie hawkins dance with me . Include his name tho 🙂
The soda idea is cool! It embodies that you have a good sense of humour and you’re willing to set up the kinda weird way you guys met. I say do it. I’d find it funny!

hmmm i would just throw him a soda with a sticky note on it that said “Dance?”. Straight forward and to the point. but thats just me.

The Gifts are a shared memory for the two of you. It may make the dance more memorable for both of you to use that as a way to ask him to go with you. I’m old ;but I think it’s a cute way to do it.
