I’ve been accepted to both Century College and St. Kate’s pre-nursing program. I’m really struggling with the decision. Both schools have a good program, but does it really matter where I attend school? I don’t want to go to St. Kate’s and pay just for the name when I can get the same education at Century for cheaper. Please help!!

A lot of the best nurses went to community colleges for some or all of their education. Don’t pay for the name because once you pass state boards, you will be classified as a new nurse, and no amount of scholarships, academic rewards or the name of your school will matter. You will be expected to prove yourself, regardless of the price you paid for the training you are expected to know.
